Lucknow’s Riddhi Tiwari to be seen on Zee TV's DID Super Moms

After launching Mithai with a Vrindavan-style Holi in the presence of media, Zee TV is all set to present to its viewers a new fiction offering – Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. A mature romance based in modern-day Vrindavan; the show will take everyone on the intriguing journey of Mohan as he tries to rediscover himself once again. Once a charmer - someone who would have everyone swooning around him, Mohan has somehow lost that spark along the way. He has turned into an intense, brooding man with sorrow in his eyes. While it was announced that popular TV superstar Shabir Ahluwalia will be playing the role of Mohan, looks like the show has two more exciting additions. Neeharika Roy has bagged her first lead role with Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, while popular TV star Swati Shah returns to Zee TV after 15 long years! 

Neeharika Roy will be seen playing the lead role of Radha, who has been madly in love with Mohan since she was a teenager, even though she is quite the opposite of him. A spiritual and optimistic girl, full of love and energy, she tries to help Mohan overcome his past and be the happy-go-lucky guy that he was once. A strong believer in Krishna, Radha always chooses the right path in life to achieve her dreams. But will she be able to help Mohan rediscover his lost smile? Swati Shah, on the other hand, plays the role of Mohan’s mother – Kadambari Devi. She is his confidante; someone he trusts blindly. Neeharika Roy a.k.a Radha of Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan reveals, “I am very excited to play the role of Radha. I truly feel that I am very similar to my on-screen character of Radha. She is a religious and ambitious girl and so am I. The concept and the storyline are also exceptional and all these factors along with the fact that I would be working with Shabir sir made me take up this part. He truly motivates me to work hard. I am also quite excited about working with Zee TV for the first time and what’s better is that I am playing my first lead role as well. I hope everyone showers us with their love and support.”   

Swati Shah a.k.a Kadambari Devi of Zee TV’s Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan reveals, “I am really excited about collaborating with Zee TV once again after 15 years for Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan. Working with Shabir is also a privilege as I believe that he is one of the most grounded and wonderful people you’ll come across. Coming to my character of Kadambari Devi, she is not a person who demands respect, but respect follows her wherever she goes. She is also very close to her son Mohan, but has her layers too. I must say that I am really looking forward to playing this role and hope everyone loves my character in the show.”

Actor Vishesh Sharma shares insight on working for Naagin 6 with Tejassvi Prakash

While the Nagin franchise is ever-growing on the Colors channel, there are some new additions on the show which is making it nearly impossible to skip in the forthcoming season. With Tejasswi Prakash and Simba Nagpal in leading roles, recent sources confirm that Vishesh Sharma from the fame of Dil Hi Toh Hai Season 2 and Dhadkan Zindagii Kii has started shooting for Nagin 6.

 

When we spoke to Vishesh, he mentioned “It was really a fun experience working for such a renowned franchise along with such great personalities. The whole journey for this casting started when the team was looking for Rishab’s brother Rehaan and I was selected on the basis of my performance in Dil Hi Toh Hai 2. After receiving the brief of my role I got really excited as after my entry the story revolves around me and Tejassvi Prakash. I am still learning and polishing myself day by day but am super psyched to look at the reaction of my fans as the show is expected to go live soon.”

 

As the shooting for the season has already begun, when we asked him about his experience working with Tejassvi Prakash and the entire team of Nagin 6, he fondly mentioned, “I had a very mixed feeling as it is very exhilarating to be working for such a successful show. Working with Teja made the entire process very easy and memorable. She is very sweet and humble as a person and her acting skills are just impeccable. I truly had the best time working with the entire team as they made me feel like a part of the team since the very first day.”

Zee TV’s Mithai enters the International Book of Records

 

 In India, almost every occasion that we celebrate is incomplete without the presence of ‘Mithai’. With stories around their origin passed down generations, our traditional sweets hold a lot of cultural significance that runs much deeper than just the taste buds. There is an emotional connection that each of us has with our favourite sweets. The protagonist of Zee TV’s upcoming fiction show ‘Mithai’ is no exception to the rule- She, in fact,

is keen to preserve her late father's legacy of Aloo Jalebis and take them into every Indian home. With Mithai premiering on 4th April and airing every Monday to Saturday at 7 pm on Zee TV, the channel is going all out to ensure that a lot of anticipation and curiosity is built around the show's novel concept prior to its launch. 

 

The highlight initiative of the campaign was preparing the World’s Largest Jalebi on the streets of Mumbai. With an aim of spreading sweetness and joy amongst everyone while celebrating the launch of Mithai, the whole-day activity commenced on 31st March at Bandra's Carter Road Promenade. Fried in a specially fabricated kadhai, this huge 12.8-feet jalebi weighing about 80 kgs was prepared with the help of 10 chefs from Rabdiwala and the lead actress of the show – Debattama Saha aka Mithai. After an arduous toil of nearly 24 hours, the channel made a victorious and spectacular entry into the International Book of Records for preparing the ‘World’s Largest Jalebi.’ But, what's also remarkable is that the channel distributed this mouth- watering jalebi to underprivileged children from the NGO- Spark-A Change. The Largest Jalebi became a source of happiness for the kids as they relished it along with their families while interacting and clicking selfies with Mithai. Zee TV also provided stationery supplies to these young students as a way of supporting them during the upcoming academic year!

At the show's exciting media launch, the lead actress playing Mithai was introduced to the media in a unique way as she entered on her bicycle with garma-garam Aloo Jalebiyaan for all the journalists and brought alive the flavors of Mathura where the show is set by playing a Brij- style Phoolon Wali Holi, splashing flower petals in the air with her show family and the media. The vibrant visuals of this celebratory launch event were splashed extensively by the media. Debattama mentioned, “I was extremely thrilled when I got to know that Zee TV and Team Mithai were going to attempt making the World’s Largest Jalebi. To be honest, I had to learn how to make Jalebis for my new show - Mithai and, it’s not an easy task to make even the small jalebis, think how difficult it was for everyone to make a 12.8 feet jalebi? But the whole team did a wonderful job and we achieved the record. It wasn't only enormous, but also delicious and I am happy I had some part to play in the making of it.”She also added, “This was the very first time I was part of a world record attempt, and it was truly such an incredible experience. I had never thought of doing something like this in my entire life and I am grateful to Zee TV for giving me this opportunity and helping all of us become a part of the International Book of World Records.” 

With excitement building for the show, it is all set to take you on the journey of a bubbly and chirpy sweet-maker, whose name is also incidentally Mithai. The show will take viewers into the by-lanes of Jatipura where barely four shops exist today that prepare a unique traditional sweet called Aloo Jalebi which is served as the mahaprasad at the Mukharvindh Temple. Not about to let her father's traditional recipe go extinct, the protagonist Mithai is all set to spread smiles by bringing her Aloo Jalebis into every Indian home.

उन्होंने कहा, ‘‘व्रज और राजश्री का बहुत ही खूबसूरत परफॉर्मेंस है! मैं तो पुरानी यादों में खो गई और इसने मुझे आज शम्मी जी की याद दिला दी। शम्मी जी, क्या आप सुन रहे हैं (हंसते हुए)। यदि आज वो यहां होते तो आपकी परफॉर्मेंस देखकर बहुत खुश होते। हमने बहुत-सी फिल्मों में साथ में काम किया है, लेकिन मैं आपको बता दूं कि वो बहुत बड़े शरारती थे और सेट पर हम सभी को खूब हंसाते थे। हालांकि हमने 8-10 बार इस गाने की रिहर्सल की थी, लेकिन शम्मी जी का अपना स्टाइल था। वो कभी कोई रिहर्सल नहीं करते थे। इस गीत पर भी उन्होंने कोई रिहर्सल नहीं किया ।‘‘
