Atif Afzal & Shalmali Kholgade celebrate 10 years of 'Jag Sare Badale' their very first track together

It's been a decade for Music Composer Atif Afzal since he entered the music industry leaving his corporate job at KPMG. Atif's first song track was 'Jag Saare Badle', a Marathi song sung by Shalmali Kholgade for the film 'Pune 52' starring Sonali Kulkarni, Girish Kulkarni & Sai Tamhankar. The song bagged four nominations along with winning the title of the best song at Mirchi Music Awards.

 

Shalmali and Atif later came together again for a song 'Kap Kap' for the film Prague and also for 'Aala Aaala Baaji' for the film Baaji. Atif's music composing journey started with Shalmali and he believes she has been his lucky mascot.

 

Atif recalls his whole journey starting from a Marathi film song to composing for bollywood films including 'Monsoon Shootout' starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shreyas Talpade starrer 'Baji', Chandan Roy Sanyal starrer 'Prague' to now working on hollywood projects like CBS Networks 'NCIS : Los Angeles' & 'The Twilight Zone - Season 2', Marvel's Loki Season 6. It has been a magnificent journey which took 10 years to accomplish.

 

Atif says,"Some collaborations are always fruitful and this is one of them. All the songs and films we got together for were different in genre and style. I hope we get together for a song sometime soon!"

 

We hope to see this duo come together more often to give us a melodious treat. Atif is in the works of releasing a reprised version of his first memorable song 'Jag Sare Badale' along with Shalmali.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER SUCCESSFULLY WRAPS UP FIRST EXCLUSIVE CONCER

 

K-pop ‘It’ band of 2021 TOMORROW X TOGETHER successfully wrapped up their first exclusive concert <ACT:BOY> on October 3, showcasing 2 years and 7 months of artistic growth through a 150 minute performance of 25 songs.

 

 

The livestream concert was delivered through the latest multi-view technology featuring access to six high-quality camera angles. <ACT:BOY> was enjoyed by fans from 126 countries/regions. Delayed streaming services will be provided on October 10, 10 AM KST.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER unpacked 2 years and 7 months of their time with MOA through ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER LIVE <ACT:BOY>.’ The concert featured songs from their Dream Chapter trilogy (The Dream Chapter: STAR, The Dream Chapter: MAGIC, and The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY), minisode1 : Blue Hour, and their Chaos Chapter duology (The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE and The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE).

 

 

The concert began with the band’s debut single “CROWN” and “Blue Orangeade.” Regarding their excitement towards their first exclusive concert, TOMORROW X TOGETHER commented: “Throughout our first and best moments, our MOA have always been by our side. We’re thankful to have you by our side tonight once again.”

 

 

<ACT:BOY> featured performances of varying style and genre. Cycling through playful joy and rebellious rock spirit, TOMORROW X TOGETHER delivered powerful performances that spanned across multiple genres. Dreamy renditions of “20cm” and “Fairy of Shampoo” later segued into warming performances of “Nap of a star” and “Magic Island.”

 

 

The concert also featured a new rock version of “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away),” a darker remix of “Can’t You See Me?,” a tropical remix of “Our Summer” and the dance break version of “Blue Hour.”

 

 

Brand new performances for existing songs were also unveiled at the concert. “Ice Cream,” “Dear Sputnik,” and “Frost” from The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE as well as “Eternally” from The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY were performed for the first time on <ACT:BOY>.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER wrapped up their concert with performances of their first fan-dedicated song “MOA Diary (Dubaddu Wari Wari)” and their unreleased single “Sweat.”

Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rise' shoots the hero vs villain face-off

 

 

The end of 2021 is about to be packed with thrills and action as Pushpa — The Rise is slated to release on December 17. Furthering the excitement of the fans Icon Staar Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the makers of the upcoming pan-India film announce that its climax is being shot in Hyderabad. After creating a stir by dropping 'The Introduction Of Pushpa Raj' and Fahadh Faasil's look as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, the makers reveal that the climax is a power-packed face-off between the hero played by Allu Arjun and the villain essayed by Faasil.

 

A source reveals, “The makers of 'Pushpa - The Rise' have shared the filming process with the netizens, industry insiders and the fans of the actors. All of them have connected with the journey. The scene that is now being shot is the one that shows hero and the villain locking horns and driving the plot to its climax. Pushpa Raj and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat will battle it out and the outcome is unexpected.”

Aggar Tum Na Hote ropes in Himanshu Soni to play the lead

Over the last three decades, Zee TV has entertained its audience with great stories, endearing characters and shackle-breaking fiction shows that have connected with the masses. Once again, the channel is set to inspire its viewers with a fresh romantic drama, Aggar Tum Na Hote, which showcases the extent to which a nurse goes to treat her patient. The story revolves around Niyati Mishra (essayed by Simaran Kaur), who is a young, hard-working and dedicated nurse and Abhimanyu Pandey (essayed by Himanshu Soni), who is a charming, rich and seemingly normal young man dealing with mental instability. For everyone who knows, this is the very first time the king of mythological drama - Himanshu Soni will be seen portraying a different persona for his new show, which is very far from the historical bracket.

 

 

 

Popular for portraying roles like Shiva and Ram in mythological shows, television actor Himanshu Soni will soon be seeing taking up a character completely different from the genre he usually prefers to be a part of. Essaying the role of an unstable person in Zee TV's Aggar Tum Na Hote will be Himanshu Soni’s first attempt at doing a fiction show without a historical or mythological touch. In the hope of changing his audience’s perception of him, Himanshu is trying his hands on a story which is highly eccentric and brings out a tough and a never seen before version of the actor.

 

 

 

Himanshu Soni speaking of his character Abhimanyu in Aggar Tum Na Hote said “My character mainly speaks of a charming lovable boy who is dealing with mental instability and is tackling a difficult phase. Although it is a very intense character, I’m thrilled to portray this role which is quite a contrast from the usual roles that I have played. Essaying mythological characters like Buddha or any other similar character for that matter is not an easy process and does not give you much scope to improvise or play around with the characters since the audience is emotionally and spiritually connected to them. But with characters like these, it’s always easy to explore your acting skills and play it by the ear. Although this new role is a challenging one, I feel my experience so far has given me an understanding of how to deal with such intense characters.

 

 

 

Adding further, Himanshu mentioned, “As an actor, I am someone who ensures to do my homework and rehearse my scenes well before enacting them on the floor so that viewers get to see me right in the skin of the character and I plan on following it with this role as well. I strongly believe that Aggar Tum Na Hote is the pathway to getting similar roles wherein I’ll get to traverse different personalities that would also allow the audience to see a new version of Himanshu Soni.”
