It was double celebration for producer Manju
Bharti and legendary singer-composer-performer Bappi Lahiri as the veteran
completed 50 years in films as well as celebrated his 65th
birthday by turning Director with Manju Bharti and Mukesh J Bharti's EK ADHURA
SANGEET under the banner of Viivek Films Production House.
Besides family - wife Chitrani, daughter Rema,
son-in-law Govind Bansal and grandson Sawastik Bansal, joining his dual
celebrations at JW Marriott were Jeetendra, Govinda, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonu
Nigam, Sarbani Mukherjee, Lalit Pandit, Joy Mukherjee, Pahlaj Nihalani,
Dr.Aneel Kashi Murarka, Vastu and Numerologist Basannt R Rasiwasia, Komal
Nahta, Yogesh Lakhani, Ila Arun among many others.
Said Bappi Da, "I love working. Whether it be
singing, writing lyrics, composing, performing or direction, art excites me. I
am very elated I am directing a feature film now along with celebrating my
birthday."
Titled Ek Adhura Sangeet, the film is a beautiful
love story. "My fans keep me alive and ticking. Ek Adhura Sangeet will see
yet another facet of mine," smiled the singer turned director.
"We were very elated when Bappi Da consented to
direct and compose for our film. He has been our guiding light and we are very
excited," expressed producer Manju Bharti . Actor Mukesh Bharti is excited
to essay the lead under the baton of Director Bappi Lahiri. The film will be
under the banner of Viivek Films Production House.
