Global music icon King creates history as ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ becomes the most streamed song of 2023 on Spotify India

 

 

Hailed as one of the most promising new-age artists worldwide, musician King has created a stir in the music scene with his chart-topping numbers over the years. Enjoying a massive fandom of over 3.2 million, King is currently busy with his ‘Tuborg Zero Packaged Drinking Water presents KING New Life India Tour 2023’ which has opened to stellar response in its initial stops in Bengaluru, Jaipur and Kolkata. While the singer is credited with multiple super hits, there’s one song which has now created history and become all the more special for the singer and his fans worldwide.

With over 275 million plays, it’s the song with the highest streams in India on Spotify followed by Karachi singer-songwriter Kaifi Khalil’s tune ‘Kahani Suno 2.0,’ composer-duo Sachet Parampara‘s ‘Malang Sajna’, Arijit Singh, Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya’s ‘Kesariya’ and more. Impressively, it doesn’t stop here, King’s ‘Champagne Talk’ album has also created history by becoming the fifth most streamed album in India, right behind Punjabi-Canadian artist Shubh’s ‘Still Rollin’.

 

One year after its release, the song continues to rule hearts and top charts, solidifying its massive success. Released in 2022, the song has collected 488 million views (and growing) on YouTube.
