Synopsis Day 23: Week 4 has begun and the Lock Upp house is only getting spicier with all the drama. The morning started with Nisha's ranting about how she isn't receiving any help in the household work except Saisha, as Payal is being punished for her actions. Nisha expects the blue block to support them; Although the blue team agreed to work, they were merely helping in the kitchen. Furthermore, Payal is discussing nominations with other inmates. She asked Shivam and Poonam as to whose name they had written. Payal assumed that Chetan nominated her because Poonam lied saying, "I have not nominated you Payal."

 

Later in the day, We eventually observe Ali and Chetan discussing Payal's disrespectful behaviour towards everyone. After that, Ali approaches Payal and says, "You were doing nothing in the show before, and it's the same now." We used to think you were a terrific leader, but now you have disappointed everyone."

 

 

 

The entire house appears to be going against Payal. Everyone in the house is raving about how she was discussing nominations, how she interacts with people, and so on.

 

 

 

Following that, we witnessed a pledge in the house, followed by a task, however, before the task, the blue team had to decide which person would not be participating in the task, and the team chose Sara. The task revolved around Handcuffs and handcuffed Kaidis must persuade one another to press the buzzer in the yard area to release the handcuffs. The other block receives one point if a kaidi punches the buzzer.

 

Munawar & Chetan, Kaaranvir & Nisha, Poonam & Payal, Anjali & Saisha, Shivam & Ali.  Anjali also persuaded Saisha to hit the buzzer by telling her that Anjali's block will aid her in future tasks, and Saisha did so. Anjali also convinced Ali to hit the buzzer by promising to save him if it occurred during the weekend, and Ali pressed the buzzer.

Tavish is the only non-medical character in this series but is hugely instrumental in the murder investigation. The show is an out and out youth murder mystery with the suspect needle, moving after each episode, keeping viewers on the edge of their seat.

The show opens with Angelina' played by Nyra Banerjee, coaching her friends on the business they're about to start together. This unique period love story featuring Karan Kundrra and Naghma Rizwan will melt you heart, break it and then med it again. Set against the backdrop of Calcutta in 1960s, it will invoke a sense of nostalgia for the  love-story set in the period of 60s and 70s when fashion was retro and love carefree while the country was dealing with political unrest, war and cholera. With February being the month of love, It Happened In Calcutta, gives audiences a fresh perspective on love and betrayal and how it can transcend across a decade.

It Happened in Calcutta revolves around Kusum, a young girl who aspires to become the first female doctor in the city and gets an admission in the Calcutta Medical College to fulfil her dream. In the college she comes across a privileged, arrogant and devastatingly handsome boy named Ronobir and falls in love with him. But there is more to this tale than what meets the eye. What follows is a series of events, leading to separation that makes Kusum lose faith in Ronobir & love. While they mature over time, it’s their love that takes a beating leading to moments where they are unable to stand each other. Will they ever love each other again?

The trailer gets it absolutely spot on in terms of raising curiosity around the show. While there are elements of romance, college life, enjoying the Retro era of the 60s and 70s, the treatment given to the plot, that also features the lead pair surviving the Indo-Pak war in 1971 and dealing with the cholera outbreak, the viewers will experience a love story that they’ve never seen before. The story also deals with issues like abortions that were not legal at that time, leading to women suffering and dying from illegal abortions; society telling a woman, that her place is to be a nurse and not a doctor. Constantly crossing paths, the chemistry between Kusum and Ronobir, that starts right from the time they meet in college, is filled with ups and downs in this patriarchal setup.

Speaking about the upcoming show, Karran Kundra who plays Ronobir said, "This show is very different than other regular love stories. Dil Hi Toh Hai Season 3

After the resounding success of the first two seasons, ALTBalaji once again embarks on a journey with the most loved family of Noons, to bring us the next chapter in Palak and Ritwik’s life by dropping the trailer of Season 3 of Dil Hi Toh Hai. Featuring Karan Kundrra and Yogita Bihani in the lead roles, the first season ended with Palak and Ritwik’s separation whereas the second season finally gave fans a sigh of relief seeing them both reconcile. But their love couldn’t blossom as destiny had planned something differently, since they met with an accident. With season 2 ending on a ‘not so happy’ note, season 3 will start with a two-year leap post Ritwik’s and Palak’s accident.

In these two years, the life of the Noons have undergone a change, with Ritwik, who was the heart of the house, slips into coma and Palak will be the force in the house to keep them all intact and happy. Without Ritwik she becomes one lifeless soul that affects her daughters. ALTBalaji launches CODE M

ALTBalaji and ZEE5, known to co-create innovative content, has now launched their most-anticipated offering — Code M this January 15, timing the show’s launch perfectly with the occasion of Indian Army Day. After ruling the television screen Jennifer Winget once again dons yet another challenging role, this as Major Monica Mehra, a Military Lawyer, whose sole purpose is finding out the truth and cracking Code M. Jennifer has been ruling the hearts of audiences since many years now and with her digital debut has once again proved her mettle as an actor by performing a host of serious action stunts and delivering some heavy-duty dialogues in the series.

The web series also features a talented pool of actors like Rajat Kapoor who is playing Colonel Suryaveer Chauhan, Commandant of the Army Base and a family friend of Monica, he is a complete no-nonsense person who cuts off all personal emotions while on duty. Talented actor Tanuj Virwani, who has proved his mettle with some of his recent stints is playing the character of Angad Sandhu, a civilian lawyer who helps Monica in cracking the case. Donning the role of a man who is sarcastic, witty and one with a very different sense of humour is what aptly defines him. Other actors who played the pivotal parts in the series are Seema Biswas, Keshav Sadhna, Aalekh Kapoor, Madhurima Roy, Gautam Ahuja and Meghana Kaushik.

Launched on Indian Army Day, Code M promises to invoke the true spirit of patriotism in every Indian out there. Produced by Juggernaut Productions and directed by Akshay Choubey, the story revolves around an Indian Army lawyer, Monica Mehra, who uncovers an uncomfortable truth while investigating the open & shut case of a militant encounter. The incident involves the killings of an officer and two militants that further sees the mother of the militants set herself ablaze. Out to find what really happened, Monica sets out on a path to discover the truth which leads to a twist in the tale as the young woman decides to side with justice and investigate deeper to uncover inconvenient truths about the army and army men.

On playing the role of Major Monica Mehra, Jennifer Winget shares, “Code M is not only my first ever digital debut with ALTBalaji but for me, it’s been an opportunity of a lifetime. Working on this show was even more special as my very first television break too was given to me by Ekta. Coming to my character on the show, once you get into an army uniform, it’s a different high all together but also a huge responsibility on your shoulders to uphold your mannerisms and stance as an officer. There is no room for slip-ups. But with all the support from my cast and crew, I’d like to think that I’ve successfully portrayed my Major Monica Mehra. I am excited to hear what the audience reaction to the show and my character is.”
