It was double celebration for producer Manju Bharti and legendary singer-composer-performer Bappi Lahiri as the veteran completed 50 years in films as well as celebrated his 65th birthday by turning Director with Manju Bharti and Mukesh J Bharti's EK ADHURA SANGEET under the banner of Viivek Films Production House.

Besides family - wife Chitrani, daughter Rema, son-in-law Govind Bansal and grandson Sawastik Bansal, joining his dual celebrations at JW Marriott were Jeetendra, Govinda, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonu Nigam, Sarbani Mukherjee, Lalit Pandit, Joy Mukherjee, Pahlaj Nihalani, Dr.Aneel Kashi Murarka, Vastu and Numerologist Basannt R Rasiwasia, Komal Nahta, Yogesh Lakhani, Ila Arun among many others.

Said Bappi Da, "I love working. Whether it be singing, writing lyrics, composing, performing or direction, art excites me. I am very elated I am directing a feature film now along with celebrating my birthday."

Titled Ek Adhura Sangeet, the film is a beautiful love story. "My fans keep me alive and ticking. Ek Adhura Sangeet will see yet another facet of mine," smiled the singer turned director.

"We were very elated when Bappi Da consented to direct and compose for our film. He has been our guiding light and we are very excited," expressed producer Manju Bharti . Actor Mukesh Bharti is excited to essay the lead under the baton of Director Bappi Lahiri. The film will be under the banner of Viivek Films Production House.

इस फिल्म की नायिका,  २००४ में रिलीज़ अमिताभ बच्चन, ऐश्वर्या राय बच्चन और विवेक ओबेरॉय के साथ फिल्म क्यों ! हो गया न से डेब्यू करने वाले एक्ट्रेस  काजल अग्रवाल नायिका है। काजल की पहली हिंदी फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर लुढ़क गई थी ।

काजल अग्रवाल ने, दक्षिण की ओर रुख किया।  उन्हें वहाँ सफलता मिली।  आज काजल अग्रवाल दक्षिण की स्थापित अभिनेत्री हैं।

फिल्म कवचम, महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपराध करने वाले समाज विरोधी तत्वों को बुरी तरह से सज़ा देने वाले पुलिस अधिकारी की है।

इस फिल्म में काजल अग्रवाल के अलावा मेहरीन पीरज़ादा भी ख़ास भूमिका में हैं।  मेहरीन, निर्माता अनुष्का शर्मा की फिल्म फिल्लौरी से हिंदी फिल्म डेब्यू कर चुकी हैं।

कवचम से हिंदी फिल्म अभिनेता नील नितिन मुकेश का तेलुगु फिल्म डेब्यू हो रहा है। नील की, पिछले दिनों ही हिंदी फिल्म दशहरा फ्लॉप हुई है।  नील की एक दूसरी हिंदी फिल्म फिरकी १ दिसंबर को रिलीज़ होगी।  अगर फिरकी रिलीज़ होती है तो इसके छह दिन बाद तेलुगु फिल्म कवचम भी रिलीज़ हो रही है।

इस फिल्म में हर्षवर्द्धन राणे भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका कर रहे हैं।  उनका हिंदी फिल्म डेब्यू फिल्म सनम तेरी कसम से हुआ था।

काजल अग्रवाल की एक अन्य फिल्म पेरिस पेरिस भी रिलीज़ होनी है।  यह फिल्म हिंदी फिल्म क्वीन की तमिल रीमेक है।

Post Race 3, Saqib Saleem is set to surprise the audience and his fans with his next offering, Rangbaaz, a ZEE5 Original web series, in which he’ll portray an interesting character of a notorious Uttar Pradesh-based gangster.

Rangbaaz, to be aired on ZEE5, will see Saqib get into the garb of a gangster for the first time sporting a different ‘moustache’ look.

Interestingly, the actor who flaunted his cool, six-pack abs in Race 3, had to let go off his muscular physique for Rangbaaz.

A source informs, “Since Saqib plays a gangster who existed in the late 90s, he was required to sport a real look. He cannot flaunt his six-pack abs as there was no concept of a well-defined body then. Considering so, Saqib lost all the muscles he had built for his character in Race 3 to look his part.”

“Being a method actor, Saqib believes in walking the extra mile for his characters. If he worked hard to build six-pack for Race 3, he lost it all for his role in the web series,” the source adds.

Saqib says, “In the late 90’s, there was no concept of a perfect body shape, forget about six packs. So, I had to lose all the muscles and gain little fat to look more real.”

It was a conscious decision for Hindustan Talkies to start off with regional cinema by co-producing Marathi cinema’s biggest budget movie ‘Mauli’ starring Riteish Deshmukh along with Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company. As producers, Ashish and Deepa’s endeavor at Hindustan Talkies is to create and support content-driven regional and commercial cinema.

Says Ashish Chowdhry, “At Hindustan Talkies, we are looking to invest in strong scripts. Both Deepa and I share a driven desire to make striking stories. Hence, when the opportunity came to co-produce with Riteish and Jio, it fit our vision perfectly. Also, it’s a delight to team up with market leaders like Mumbai Film Company and Jio Studios.”

Says Deepa Pardasany, '' We are willing to back new writers as long as we feel they have a strong content. Also, the opening of online platform necessates a gap to be filled. We will take our vision across platforms and regions."

कलंक - निर्माता करण जौहर की, अभिषेक वर्मन निर्देशित फिल्म कलंक एक सितारा बहुल फिल्म है।  इस फिल्म में आलिया भट्ट के अलावा संजय दत्त, माधुरी दीक्षित, सोनाक्षी सिन्हा, आदित्य रॉय कपूर और वरुण धवन की बड़ी स्टारकास्ट है।  कलंक में, आलिया भट्ट के जोड़ीदार वरुण धवन हैं।  यह फिल्म सरहद पार का पीरियड ड्रामा है।  अभिषेक वर्मन, आलिया भट्ट की पहली फिल्म स्टूडेंट ऑफ़ द ईयर के सह निर्देशक थे।  उनकी पहली फिल्म २ स्टेट्स थी। यह फिल्म १९ अप्रैल २०१९ को रिलीज़ हो रही है। 

सड़क २- महेश भट्ट फिल्म सड़क २ से २० साल बाद बतौर निर्देशक वापसी कर रहे हैं। यह फिल्म महेश भट्ट द्वारा निर्देशित और १९९१ में रिलीज़ संजय दत्त और पूजा भट्ट अभिनीत म्यूजिकल रोमांस फिल्म सड़क की सीक्वल फिल्म है।  इस फिल्म में बड़ी बहन पूजा भट्ट की संजय दत्त के साथ जोड़ी की वापसी हो रही है।  इस थ्रिलर ड्रामा फिल्म में आलिया भट्ट की जोड़ी आदित्य रॉय कपूर के साथ बन रही हैं। यह फिल्म १५ नवंबर २०१९ को रिलीज़ हो रही है। 

ब्रह्मास्त्र - अयान मुख़र्जी निर्देशित फिल्म ब्रह्मास्त्र, २०१९ के आखिरी महीने में २० दिसंबर को रिलीज़ हो रही है।  लेकिन, दर्शकों की निगाहें पूरे साल इस फिल्म के इंतज़ार में अटकी रहेंगी।  क्योंकि, करण जौहर की फंतासी ट्राइलॉजी फिल्म में वह अपने रियल लाइफ दोस्त रणबीर कपूर के साथ रोमांस और एक्शन कर रही हैं। इस फिल्म में दर्शक आलिया भट्ट को हैरतअंगेज़ एक्शन करते देख सकेंगे।  फिल्म में अमिताभ बच्चन, नागार्जुन और मौनी रॉय की भी अहम् भूमिका है।

शीर्षक चौंकाऊ है। लेकिन, सवाल उठाने वाला है।  क्या बॉलीवुड कैटरीना कैफ का नाम लेकर दर्शकों के साथ धोखाधड़ी करता है ?

ठग्स ऑफ़ हिंदुस्तान ने ठगा !

यह सवाल ठग्स ऑफ़ हिंदुस्तान की रिलीज़ के बाद खड़ा हो गया।  इस फिल्म के प्रचार में, कैटरीना कैफ बाकी की स्टारकास्ट के साथ सक्रिय थी। आमिर खान के साथ उनके डांस को काफी प्रचारित किया जा रहा था।  लेकिन, जब दर्शक सिनेमाघरों में गया तो उसे लगा कि उसके साथ धोखा हुआ है। क्योंकि, फिल्म से कैटरीना कैफ लगभग नदारद ही थी।  यह दर्शकों के साथ ठगी ही थी कि ठग्स ऑफ़ हिंदुस्तान को कैटरीना कैफ की फिल्म की तरह प्रचारित किया गया।

सिर्फ ठगों की थी ठग्स ऑफ़ हिंदुस्तान

वास्तविकता तो यह है कि ठग्स ऑफ़ हिंदुस्तान आमिर खान, अमिताभ बच्चन और फातिमा सना खान के किरदारों के इर्दगिर्द घूमती थी।  फिल्म में, कैटरीना कैफ को एक नर्तकी भूमिका में, सिर्फ दो गीत करने के लिए ही साइन किया था। उतना ही काम कैटरीना कैफ ने किया भी था।

ठगी के लिए प्रचार में शामिल

लेकिन, बाद में फिल्म के निर्माताओं ने कैटरीना कैफ को फिल्म के प्रचार में भी शामिल कर लिया।  जबकि आम तौर पर मेहमान भूमिका या  कैमिया एक्टर को प्रचार में शामिल नहीं किया जाता है। इससे दर्शकों के बीच भ्रम फैला कि ठग्स ऑफ़ हिंदुस्तान की एक नायिका कैटरीना कैफ भी है। इसी ठगी का नतीज़ा था कि हर प्रकार से कमज़ोर बनी फिल्म ठग्स ऑफ़ हिंदुस्तान, बॉक्स ऑफिस पर अपने बड़े सितारों के साथ यशराज बैनर की मिट्टी पलीद कर गई।

बौना जीरो है या ठग !

अब ऐसी कुछ खबर जीरो से भी है।  कहा जा रहा है कि जीरो की कहानी एक बौने और नासा की सेरिब्रल पल्सी से ग्रस्त लड़की के रोमांस की कहानी है।  इस रोमांस में, कैटरीना कैफ के रोमांस का त्रिकोण बताया जा रहा है।

प्रेम त्रिकोण नहीं !

लेकिन, वास्तव में ऐसा कुछ नहीं है। सूत्र बताते हैं कि यह फिल्म जब तक है जान जैसा रोमांस नहीं दिखाती, बल्कि कैटरीना कैफ कैमिया में, शाहरुख़ खान के बौने से दिल बहलाती हैं। संभव है मेरा नाम जोकर जैसा कुछ हो।

Dineout Acquires Torqus

Dineout, India’s largest Dining Out Platform,  today announced the acquisition of Pune-based Torqus, a leading SaaS based restaurant management software provider, further strengthening its position as a full stack technology service provider in the online restaurant-booking space.

The acquisition of Torqus, will further enhance Dineout’s bouquet of services to the restaurant industry and along with inResto, a one-stop CRM platform for Recognising, Personalising and Re-engaging Diners, will provide an end-to-end tech solution for the Restaurant industry as a whole covering a wide range of use cases.

The platform consisting of Dineout, Dineout Pay, Gourmet Passport, Torqus and inResto will become the largest platform in India offering B2C and B2B services to the restaurant industry with a combined client base of nearly 10,000 restaurants across 70+ cities in India.

In all, this is Dineout’s third acquisition and second this year after Gourmet Passport. Dineout has first acquired Inresto in 2015. On the acquisition, Co- Founder and CEO of Torqus, Tanmay Ratnaparkhe said, “Torqus is already the most comprehensive SaaS  based restaurant management software platform in the industry. Torqus’ key products are around Point Of Sale (POS), Head Office and Supply Chain Management.  POS software takes extensive care of all the functionalities of a restaurant outlet, ranging from steward management to dynamic menu while Head Office accumulates customer data, manages and tracks delivery stages, aggressive SMS marketing, as well as manoeuvre data from a single access point. Its Supply Chain Management enables efficient management of the restaurant chain inventory by strategically co-ordinating all the business function, ranging from procurement and manufacturing to sale estimation and invoicing.

Launched as a POS service provider in 2013 by Tanmay Ratnaparkhe and Suneet Kulkarni, Torqus is now being used in more than 3500 outlets across 70+ cities in five countries. Torqus offers a cloud based SaaS platform for the restaurant business.
