जेजीएम की शूटिंग शुरू

जेजीएम यानि जन गण मन की शूटिंग पिछले दिनों शुरू हो गई. निर्माता पुरी जगन्नाथ की चारमी कौर के साथ फिल्म जन गण मन का निर्देशन वामसी करेंगे. बताते हैं कि इस फिल्म की मुख्य भूमिका के लिए पुरी जगनाथ सबसे पहले महेश बाबु से मिले थे. परन्तु महेश बाबू ने तमाम इंतज़ार के बाद कोई उत्तर नहीं दिया. इस पर पुरी जगन्नाथ विजय देवेराकोंडा के पास गए. विजय ने फिल्म को तत्काल हाँ कर दी. विजय देवेराकोंडा इस समय पुरी जगन्नाथ की फिल्म लाइगर भी कर रहे हैं. लाइगर, विजय देवेराकोंडा की पहली हिंदी फिल्म होगी. जन गण मन भी पोलिटिकल एक्शन फिल्म होगी. हिंदी, तमिल, तेलुगु, कन्नड़ और मलयालम में बनाई जाने वाली फिल्म जेजीएम को ३ अगस्त २०२३ को प्रदर्शित किया जाएगा.

रणबीर कपूर के एनिमल की शूटिंग शुरू!

अपनी पहली तेलुगु फिल्म अर्जुन रेड्डी से सफलता का झंडे गाड़ने वाले निर्देशक संदीप वंगा रेड्डी को इस फिल्म के हिंदी रीमेक कबीर सिंह को निर्देशित करने का मौका मिला.

शाहिद कपूर के साथ इस हिंदी रीमेक को बड़ी सफलता मिली. इसके साथ ही बॉलीवुड में संदीप के रास्ते खुल गए. उन्हें रणबीर कपूर के लिए फिल्म एनिमल निर्देशित करने का अवसर मिल गया.

इस फिल्म की शूटिंग आज से मनाली में शुरू भी हो गई. फिल्म में शीर्षक भूमिका में रणबीर कपूर हैं. उनके साथ पुष्पा की श्रीवल्ली रश्मिका मन्दाना नायिका हैं. सहायक भूमिकाओं में अनिल कपूर और बॉबी देओल हैं.

’EK HATHACH ANTAR’ Starring Siddharth Chandekar, Gauri Nalawade and Abhijeet Khandkekar Goes On Floors!

 

 

 A leading name behind blockbuster Marathi entertainment, Planet Marathi OTT has teamed up with High IQ Entertainment for their latest film ‘Ek Hathach Antar’, a sensational, new-age romantic drama.

 

 Set against the backdrop of the charming city of Pondicherry, the film has gone on floors and taken off shooting on location.

 

 A stellar star cast will headline ‘Ek Hathach Antar’, including popular names Siddharth Chandekar, Gauri Nalawade, Abhijeet Khandkekar in the lead roles and other cast includes Resham Shrivardhankar, Hemant Dhome and Neha Joshi. A riveting emotional tale, the movie navigates the trials and complexities of marriage, intimacy and infidelity. In a nutshell, the story follows by Gauri Nalawade who will be playing a character of a hommemaker, Abhijeet Khandkekar playing the character of a doctor and Siddharth Chandekar who will be seen playing a pivotal role.

 

Planet Marathi’s latest outing aims to entertain and touch audience’s hearts with a new-age story tackling intimate concerns. The film has been written by Mitali Joshi popularly known for ‘What's Up Lagna’.

Third schedule of Shriya Saran and Sharman Joshi-starrer 'Music School in Hyderabad

 

It's the kick-off of the third schedule of India's most awaited musicals by Ilaiyaraaja - 'Music School'. Starring Sharman Joshi and Shriya Saran, the film launches into shoot in Hyderabad. In view of the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the makers of the musical have a deputed a team that sanitizes the studio, location and vanity vans. The film's team ensures social distancing and the use of masks on the set. As a norm, anyone new to the set must undergo an antigen test and RT-CPR tests of the cast and crew are being done once a week.

 

The team has a general physician on board in case there is a medical emergency. Despite the challenges, filmmaker Papa Rao Biyyala is determined to spare no effort to bring to the audience a rich visual and sonic extravaganza observing the due precaution. The upcoming Ilaiyaraaja musical is about two teachers, Mary D’Cruz and Manoj (played by Shriya and Sharman respectively) who try their best to shake off the influence of an unimaginative education system over pupils with the culture and refinement of music and theatre.

दिवाली मनाने के बाद, भारत की पहली अखिल भारतीय सितारा अभिनेत्री पूजा हेगड़े (@Pooja Hegde) शूटिंग पर लौट आई है. उन्होंने चेन्नई में अपनी तमिल फिल्म बीस्ट की शूटिंग शुरू कर दी है.

तमिल सुपरस्टार विजय की ब्लैक कॉमेडी एक्शन फिल्म बीस्ट के निर्देशक नेल्सन दिलीपकुमार है. इस फिल्म से पूजा हेगड़े और विजय की जोडी पहली बार बन रही है.

विजय की फिल्म मास्टर ने इस साल कोरोना महामारी के बाद प्रदर्शित हो कर तमिल फिल्म उद्योग को नया जीवन दिया था. पूजा हेगड़े की २०२१ में प्रदर्शित तेलुगु फिल्म मोस्ट एलिजिबल बैचलर को भी बड़ी सफलता मिली थी. इस प्रकार से विजय और पूजा हेगड़े की जोड़ी सफल में नहाई तरोताजा है.

पूजा हेगड़े के पास भारत के तमाम बड़े अभिनेताओं फिल्मों की भरमार है. उनकी रामचरण और चिरंजीवी के साथ फिल्म आचार्य रिलीज़ होने वाली है.

वह प्रभास के साथ राधे श्याम, महेश बाबु के साथ एक अनाम फिल्म, रणवीर सिंह के साथ हिंदी फिल्म सर्कस तथा सलमान खान के साथ फिल्म भाईजान में अभिनय कर रही है.

Pooja Hegde resumes the shoot for Beast in Chennai

 

After having wrapping up a hectic series of work commitments and Diwali celebrations, India's emerging pan-India star Pooja Hegde has kicked off shooting for one of the country's big-ticket films - Beast in Chennai. Backed by the humongous success of Most Eligible Bachelor, the actress has revived theatres in a memorable way and is on the heels of delivering a larger-than-life cinematic experience with Beast. She will be stationed in Chennai for over a couple of days. What's exciting is that the upcoming black comedy action film marks her return to Tamil cinema after Mugamoodi.

 

Apart from the Tamil film, the gorgeous powerhouse has a slate full of big banner movies that are at various stages of being filmed. Silambarasan's Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu ready to roll in Mumbai

 

Creating excitement among his fans, Silambarasan posted about his take off from Chennai to Mumbai.  Along with the picture, the multitalented superstar tweeted, “Off to #Mumbai for the next schedule of #VTK ” His trip to the city of dreams accommodates a 10-day schedule of the shoot of his highly anticipated next, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (STR 47). The upcoming film will witness him a never-seen-before avatar.

 

After stirring a thrill among viewers with his incredible transformation for the film, the multitalented star has furthered its intrigue with the announcement of his trip. He had earlier completed two schedules in Thiruchendur and Chennai respectively. STR 47 is now set to dive into its next schedule in Mumbai.

 

 

 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' is going to explore a novel subject and it marks the third collaboration of the cinematic trio of Simbu, film director Gautham Menon & Oscar-winner A. R. Rahman. A raw, realistic and hard-hitting action drama, the upcoming Tamil film will be dubbed in various other languages.

 

 

 Simbu's other upcoming projects include political thriller Maanadu slated to release in Theaters on November 25th, Pathu Thala directed by Obelli Krishna and Corona Kumar directed by Gokul.

लाइगर (Liger) की शूटिंग शुरू

तेलुगु फिल्म स्टार विजय देवेराकोंडा ने अपनी पहली हिंदी फिल्म स्पोर्ट्स एक्शन थ्रिलर फिल्म लाइगर की शूटिंग फिर से शुरू कर दी है. यह शूटिंग अभी तक कोरोना प्रकोप के कारण रुकी हुई थी.

इस फिल्म में विजय की नायिका अनन्या पाण्डेय हैं. अनन्या पांडेय १९८० के दशक के अभिनेता चंकी पांडेय की बिटिया हैं. उनकी पहली फिल्म टाइगर श्रॉफ और तारा सुतरिया के साथ फिल्म स्टूडेंट ऑफ़ द ईयर २ थी. उनकी अब तक दो अन्य फ़िल्में पति पत्नी और वह तथा खाली पीली प्रदर्शित हो चुकी हैं. यह सभी फ़िल्में फ्लॉप हुई थी।

विजय डेवेराकोण्डा प्रमुख रूप से तेलुगु फ़िल्में करते हैं। हिंदी फिल्म दर्शकों ने विजय देवेराकोंडा की फिल्म अर्जुन रेड्डी की हिंदी रिमेक फिल्म शाहिद कपूर अभिनीत कबीर सिंह देखी है. विजय की कुछ दूसरी फिल्मों के रीमेक भी बनाए जा रहे हैं.

लाइगर टाइटल के बारे में बता दें कि लाइगर उस प्रजाति को कहा जाता है जो टाइगर और लायन की वर्ण संकर है. यानि इस प्रजाति में असीम शक्तियां होती है. इस फिल्म की पंच लाइन साला क्रॉस ब्रीड से इसे अच्छी अच्छी तरह से समझा जा सकता है।

लाइगर का नायक विजय देवेराकोंडा भी ऐसी ही शक्तियों का स्वामी है. निर्माता करण जोहर की चारमी कौर और अपूर्व मेहता के साथ इस एक्शन फिल्म का निर्देशन पुरी जगन्नाथ कर रहे हैं. यह फिल्म हिंदी के अलावा तमिल, तेलुगु, कन्नड़ और मलयालम में भी प्रदर्शित की जायेगी.

दो अखिल भारतीय फिल्मों RRR और Pushpa की शूटिंग शुरू

कोरोना महामारी की वजह से लगाए गए लॉकडाउन के ख़त्म होने के साथ ही दक्षिण के फिल्म उद्योग ने अपनी फिल्मों की शूटिग शुरू कर दी है. 

हले एसएसएस राजामौली निर्देशित फिल्म आरआरआर की शूटिंग २९ जून से शुरू हुई. इस शिड्यूल में रामचरण और जूनियर एनटीआर ने हिस्सा लिया. फिल्म के कई अहम् हिस्से शूट किये गए.

१० जुलाई से शुरू होने वाले एक अन्य शिड्यूल में अलिया भट्ट, रामचरण और जूनियर एनटीआर हिस्सा लेंगे. इस शिड्यूल में रामचरण और अलिया भट्ट के बीच एक रोमांटिक गीत फिल्माया जाएगा. इसी शिड्यूल में फिल्म की शूटिंग पूरी कर ली जायेगी ताकि फिल्म इसी साल १३ अक्टूबर को प्रदर्शित की जा सके.

आरआरआर के बाद, दक्षिण की दूसरी बड़ी फिल्म पुष्पा है, जिसकी शूटिंग ६ जुलाई से शुरू हो गई. इस चालीस दिन के शिड्यूल में फिल्म के पहले भाग की शूटिंग पूरी हो जायेगी.

अल्लू अर्जुन के अखिल भारतीय अपील वाली फिल्म पुष्पा इस साल की चौथी तिमाही में प्रदर्शित होगी. पुष्पा में अल्लू अर्जुन की नायिका रश्मिका मंदना है.

सेलुलॉइड पर १८ मार्च से 'राम सेतु'

अक्षय कुमार ने, अपनी फिल्म बच्चन पाण्डेय का निर्धारित कार्यक्रम पूरा कर लिया है. अब वह अपना ध्यान राम सेतु पर लगाने जा रहे हैं.

निर्देशक अभिषेक शर्मा की फिल्म राम सेतु का कथानक रामायणकाल के राम सेतु पर आधारित है. फिल्म में अक्षय कुमार ने एक पुरातत्व विज्ञानी की भूमिका कर रहे हैं, जो राम सेतु की काल्पनिकता और वास्तविकता की पड़ताल करेंगे.

अभिषेक शर्मा को इस फिल्म का विचार २००७ में उस समय आया जब केरल से श्रीलंका तक कैनाल बनाने के मामले में राम सेतु की मौजूदगी का पता चला और यह प्रकरण सर्वोच्च न्यायलय तक पहुंचा. शर्मा को फिल्म के विषय पर काफी मदद डॉक्टर चंद्रप्रकाश द्विवेदी से मिली.

जब अभिषेक शर्मा ने, अक्षय कुमार को फिल्म की स्क्रिप्ट का पहला ड्राफ्ट सुनाया, तब उन्होंने तत्काल फिल्म पर सहमति दे दी.

अब इस फिल्म की शूटिंग १८ मार्च को अयोध्या में महूरत शॉट के साथ शुरू हो जायेगी. फिल्म की ८० प्रतिशत शूटिंग मुंबई में ही होगी. इस फिल्म में वीएफएक्स की काफी अहम् भूमिका होगी.

फिल्म में जैक्वेलिन फर्नॅंडेज़ और नुसरत भरुचा के महिला चरित्र काफी सशक्त है.

अभिषेक बच्चन ने शुरू की बॉब बिस्वास की शूटिंग

बुद्धवार २५ नवम्बर से, अभिनेता अभिषेक बच्चन ने कोलकत्ता में, निर्माता सुजॉय घोष और शाहरुख़ खान की फिल्म बॉब बिस्वास की शूटिंग शुरू कर दी है। वह इस फिल्म का पहला शूटिंग शिड्यूल दिसम्बर के पहले हफ्ते तक पूरा कर लेंगे।

इस शिड्यूल में उनके साथ अभिनेत्री चित्रांगदा सिंह भी हिस्सा ले रही है। यह शिड्यूल आठ महीने बाद फिर शुरू हुआ है। इस शूट के पहले दिन के कुछ चित्र इस समय इन्टरनेट पर वायरल हो रहे हैं। इन चित्रों में अभिषेक बच्चन बॉब बिस्वास के गेटअप में पहचाने नहीं जा रहे।

बताते चलें कि बॉब विश्वास वह चरित्र है, जिसे पहली बार विद्या बालन की फिल्म कहानी में शाश्वत चटर्जी के रूप में देखा गया। बॉब विस्वास एक शांत स्वभाव का लगने वाला निर्मम हत्यारा चरित्र है। फिल्म कहानी के निर्देशक सुजॉय घोष ने इसे ही अपनी फिल्म बॉब बिस्वास  का मुख्य चरित्र बना लिया है। 

आज से पठान की शूटिंग शुरू !

आज का दिन, हिंदी फिल्म प्रेमियों के लिए ख़ास हो सकता है. आज यशराज फिल्म्स के अँधेरी स्थित स्टूडियो में, सिद्धार्थ आनंद के निर्देशन में शाहरुख़ खान की वापसी फिल्म पठान की शूटिंग शुरू हो सकती है. इस प्रकार से शाहरुख़ खान जून २०१८ के बाद, पहली बार कैमरे का सामना करेंगे. उनका यह शूट सोलो होगा या दीपिका पादुकोण या जॉन अब्राहम के साथ होगा, अभी साफ़ नहीं हुआ है. कहा तो यह जा रहा है कि इस शिड्यूल में शाहरुख़ खान अकेले शूटिंग करेंगे. विदेश में होने वाले शिड्यूल में जॉन अब्राहम और दीपिका पादुकोण भी हिस्सा लेंगे. एक खबर यह भी है कि पठान का फिल्मांकन त्रिआयामी यह ३डी में होगा तथा सलमान खान अपने टाइगर एजेंट को फिर खेलेंगे.

आज का दिन, इस लिहाज़ से ख़ास हो सकता है कि यशराज फिल्म्स द्वारा कुछ महत्वपूर्ण ऐलान किये जा सकते हैं, जो उनकी बैनर की ५०वी वर्षगांठ के अंतर्गत होंगे. सूचना है कि पठान के साथ टाइगर ३ और वॉर २ का ऐलान भी किया जा सकता है. पर अभी यह कहना ज़ल्दबाज़ी होगी. क्योंकि, टाइगर और वॉर फिल्मों के सीक्वल के ऐलान के समय इनके नायक अभिनेताओं की मौजूदगी भी होनी चाहिए. शाहरुख़ खान यह कतई नहीं चाहेंगे कि सलमान खान और हृथिक रोशन की मौजूदगी में उनकी चमक कमज़ोर पड़े. अब देखिये शाम ६ बजे यशराज स्टूडियो में क्या होता है?

'Bhoot Police' team leave for Dalhousie

 

The much awaited spooky adventure is about to begin! Bhoot Police team left for the shoot today, the lead cast which includes Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam along with producers Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri. The team was spotted at the private Mumbai airport as they headed to Dalhousie in a private charter to begin their shoot schedule.

हीरोपंथी से पहले टाइगर श्रॉफ बने गणपत !

टाइगर श्रॉफ ने, लॉकडाउन के खुलने के बाद अपनी अगली फिल्म की शूटिंग आज से शुरू कर दी है. पहले के अनुमानों के अनुरूप यह फिल्म निर्माता साजिद नाडियाडवाला की अहमद खान निर्देशित फिल्म हीरोपंथी २ नहीं है.

आज टाइगर श्रॉफ ने पूजा एंटरटेनमेंट के निर्माता विक्की भगनानी की फिल्म गणपत की शूटिंग शुरू की. पूजा एंटरटेनमेंट ने पिछले दिनों ही अक्षय कुमार के साथ फिल्म बेल बॉटम का शिड्यूल विदेश में पूरा किया है. इस फिल्म में टाइगर श्रॉफ गणपत की केंद्रीय भूमिका में है. फिल्म का निर्देशन क्वीन और सुपर ३० के निर्देशक विकास बहल करेंगे.

यह फिल्म विकास बहल की अब तक की फिल्मों से बिलकुल भिन्न शैली की है. विकास बहल पहली बार कोई एक्शन फिल्म निर्देशित कर रहे हैं. इस फिल्म में टाइगर श्रॉफ एक बॉक्सर की भूमिका में नज़र आयेंगे. इसके लिए टाइगर ने अपने डील डौल को बनाने के अलावा बॉक्सिंग के गुर और मार्शल आर्ट्स के नए फॉर्म सीखे हैं.

हालाँकि, गणपत भी टाइगर की एक्शन फिल्म है. लेकिन, यह अहमद खान के हीरोपंथी २ के एक्शन से बिलकुल लग बताई जा रही है. गणपत के एक्शन रफ़ और वास्तविक हैं, वही हीरोपंथी २ का एक्शन टाइटल के अनुरूप फैशन बघारने वाला है.

लखनऊ में शूट हो रही है सत्यमेव जयते २

लखनऊ में कल (२० अक्टूबर)से जॉन अब्राहम की फिल्म सत्यमेव जयते २ की शूटिंग शुरू हो गई है. इस फिल्म का निर्देशन मिलाप जावेरी ही कर रहे हैं. २०१८ में रिलीज़ सतर्क नागरिक (विजिलान्ते) फिल्म सत्यमेव जयते की सीक्वल फिल्म का निर्देशन सत्यमेव जयते के निर्देशक मिलाप ही कर रहे हैं.

इस फिल्म से, अभिनेत्री दिव्या खोसला कुमार की १७ साल बाद वापसी हो रही है. दिव्या ने अपनी पहली फिल्म अब तुम्हारे हवाले वतन साथियों (२००४) की रिलीज़ के बाद,  टी-सीरीज के गुलशन कुमार के बेटे भूषण कुमार से विवाह कर फिल्मों में अभिनय को अलविदा कह दिया था.

फिल्म सत्यमेव जयते २ में मनोज बाजपेई, नोरा फतेही और दया शंकर त्रिपाठी की भूमिकाये बेहद खास हैं.यह फिल्म १२ मई २०२१ को प्रदर्शित की जायेगी. संभव है कि सलमान खान की फिल्म राधे योर मोस्ट वांटेड भाई के रिलीज़ होने की दशा में जॉन अब्राहम और सलमान खान टकराव की स्थिति पैदा हो.

इस फिल्म की शूटिंग लखनऊ के कई ऐतिहासक स्थलों और इमारतों पर भी होगी. जावेरी का इरादा फिल्म के जॉन अब्राहम पर फिल्माए जाने वाले एक्शन लखनऊ की सडकों पर करने का है.

सिद्धांत चतुर्वेदी अगस्त से शुरू करेंगे बंटी और बबली २ की शूटिंग

ज़ोया अख्तर की फिल्म गली बॉय के रैपर एमसी शेर सिद्धांत चतुर्वेदी अपने करियर की दूसरी फिल्म बंटी और बबली २ की शूटिंग अगस्त से शुरू करेंगे।  इस फिल्म में सैफ अली खान और रानी मुख़र्जी की जोड़ी के साथ सिद्धांत  चतुर्वेदी  की जोड़ी नवोदित शरवरी वाघ के साथ बनाई गई है।  सिद्धांत ने इस फिल्म की शूटिगं साल के शुरू में ही करनी शुरू कर दी थी। लेकिन, कोरोना के कारण हुए लॉकडाउन के बाद फिल्म की शूटिगं रोक दी गई थी। अब इस फिल्म की शूटिंग अबू धाबी में होगी। यह एक महत्वपूर्ण शिड्यूल बताया जा रहा है।  इस शिड्यूल के बाद, बाकी की शूटिंग यशराज स्टूडियो मे  की जाएगी। यशराज वाले शिड्यूल की खासियत यह होगी कि इसमें एक गीत इन चार प्रमुख कलाकारों पर फिल्माया जाएगा।  सिद्धांत चतुर्वेदी, बंटी और बबली २ के अलावा शकुन बत्रा की अनाम फिल्म में दीपिका पादुकोण और अनन्या पांडेय के साथ और  ईशान खट्टर और  कैटरीना कैफ के साथ फ़ोन भूत कर रहे हैं।

अगस्त से शुरू होगी Akshay Kumar की बेलबॉटम

फिल्म अभिनेता अक्षय कुमार ने, नंबर १ रहने की बाज़ी फिर मार ली है. वह कोरोना महामारी के चलते लगाए गए लॉकडाउन में छूट के बाद, फिल्मों की शूटिंग शुरू करने वाले पहले अभिनेता भी बन गए हैं. उनकी फिल्म बेलबॉटम की शूटिंग अगले महीने यानि अगस्त से शुरु होगी. बेशक इस शूट में उनके साथ उनके निर्देशक रंजित तिवारी होंगे ही. महिला शक्ति भी पीछे नहीं है. बेलबॉटम के अंडरकवर स्पाई की सहयोगिनी या रोमांस करने वाली तीन अभिनेत्रियाँ वाणी कपूर, लारा दत्ता और हमा कुरैशी भी उनके साथ शूटिंग की शुरुआत करेंगी. इससे पहले यह उम्मीद की जा रही थी कि संजय लीला भंसाली की फिल्म गंगुबाई कठियावाड़ी या सलमान खान की फिल्म राधे योर मोस्ट वांटेड भाई में से किसी एक फिल्म की शूटिंग सबसे पहले शुरू होगी.फिल्म बेलबॉटम २ अप्रैल २०२१ को प्रदर्शित होगी.

Sony Pictures and Dino Morea come together for an insightful comedy titled ‘Helmet’

Sony Pictures Networks Productions and actor Dino Morea’s production house, DM Movies have joined hands to give the audience a unique, quirky comedy titled ‘Helmet’ that comes from the heartland of India.

Directed by Satram Ramani, ‘Helmet’ is a truly funny script which touches upon a topic that is considered embarrassing for most people in India, and will showcase the same in a funny and entertaining manner.

Satram has previously assisted Prabhudeva, Pooja Bhatt and Sohail Khan and this is his directorial debut.

Rohan Shankar, who previously wrote Luka Chuppi has been roped in as the writer.

The film will feature Aparshakti Khurana, Pranutan Bahl in lead roles.

Aparshakti Khurana has had a fantastic year garnering praises for his performances in multiple films, like Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh and this film will be his first as a lead actor.

On the other hand, Pranutan Bahl - granddaughter of yesteryear actress Nutan made her Bollywood debut this year with Notebook where she was praised for her acting prowess.

The film also features the talented Abhishek Banerjee who was a part of many successful films like Stree, Dream Girl and Bala and Ashish Verma was last seen in Article 15.

The film has gone on floors in Benaras and is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2020.

सिख्या एंटरटेनमेंट की Paglait प्रोड्यूस करेगा Balaji Telefilms

लिपस्टिक अंडर माय बुर्का और वीरे दी वेडिंग जैसी दमदार फिल्मों का निर्माण करने वाली टैलेंटेड निर्माता एकता कपूर ने भारतीय सिनेमा से जुडी महत्वपूर्ण आवाज़  मानी जाने वाली प्रोड्यूसर गुनीत मोंगा के साथ हाथ मिला लिया है। एकता कपूर की बालाजी टेलीफिल्म्स, सिख्या एंटरटेनमेंट की फिल्म पगलेट का सह-निर्माण करेगी। 

फिल्म पगलैट एक हल्की-फुल्की मनोरंजक कहानी है। यह फिल्म उस कथानक पर आधारित है, जिसमे कहा जाता है कि जब लड़की को अक्ल आती है तो उसे पगलैट कहते हैं। यह फिल्म इसी कथन को परिभाषित करती है। इस फिल्म में दंगल से मशहूर सान्या मल्होत्रा पगलैट भूमिका कर रही है । फिल्म का निर्देशन उमेश बिस्ट कर रहे हैं।  उमेश ने फिल्म ओ तेरी (२०१४) का भी निर्देशन किया था। 'पगलेट' की पहले शेड्यूल की शूटिंग लखनऊ में शुरू भी हो चुकी है। 

फिल्म के कांसेप्ट और निर्माता गुनीत मोंगा के बारे में एकता कपूर कहती हैं, "गुनीत आज के भारतीय सिनेमा से जुड़ी हुई सबसे महत्वपूर्ण आवाज़ों में से एक है। जब मैंने इस फिल्म का कांसेप्ट पहली बार सुना था, तभी मुझे समझ आ गया था यह फिल्म हमें साथ मिलकर बनानी है।"
