Leading India and Singapore-based animation studio
Cosmos-Maya and India’s Entertainment Super-app ZEE5
have entered into a far-reaching multi-project partnership which will see 250+ episodes
of Cosmos-Maya’s content air on the OTT App’s new offering ZEE5Kids.
The deal will see the exclusive digital premier of
three of Cosmos-Maya’s properties: Guddu (Season 2),
Bapu, and Gadget Guru Ganesha. This new agreement brings a total of 500+ episodes
of Cosmos-Maya’s content broadcasting on ZEE5
platforms following a previous agreement for 250+ episodes
for three other Cosmos-Maya’s series: ViR: The Robot Boy, Eena Meena Deeka and
Chacha Bhatija, which have been airing on ZEE5
as part of its library.
With around 11.4 million Daily Active
Users as of Dec 2019, the Zee Enterprises’ owned ZEE5
is India’s Entertainment super-app. With ZEE5
Kids, they aim to provide a bespoke amalgamation of entertainment and education
content for kids in a safe and secured environment. ZEE5
Kids will also educate parents on the content slate, features and safety
precautions through blogs, stories, challenges, and tutorials.

in Calcutta’ on February 29. And if you

It
Happened in Calcutta revolves around Kusum, a young girl who aspires to become
the first female doctor in the city and gets an admission in the Calcutta

privileged, arrogant and devastatingly handsome boy named Ronobir and falls in
love with him. But there is more to this tale than what meets the eye. What
follows is a series of events, leading to separation that makes Kusum lose
faith in Ronobir & love. While they mature over time, it’s their love that
takes a beating leading to moments where they are unable to stand each other.
Will they ever love each other again?
The
trailer gets it absolutely spot on in terms of raising curiosity around the
show. While there are elements of romance, college life, enjoying the Retro era
of the 60s and 70s, the treatment given to the plot, that also features the lead
pair surviving the Indo-Pak war in 1971 and dealing with the cholera outbreak,
the viewers will experience a love story that they’ve never seen before. The
story also deals with issues like abortions that were not legal at that time,
leading to women suffering and dying from illegal abortions; society telling a
woman, that her place is to be a nurse and not a doctor. Constantly crossing

they meet in college, is filled with ups and downs in this patriarchal setup.

Launched on Indian Army Day, Code M promises to
invoke the true spirit of patriotism in every Indian out there. Produced by
Juggernaut Productions and directed by Akshay Choubey, the story revolves
around an Indian Army lawyer, Monica Mehra, who uncovers an uncomfortable truth
while investigating the open & shut case of a militant encounter. The
incident involves the killings of an officer and two militants that further
sees the mother of the militants set herself ablaze. Out to find what really
happened, Monica sets out on a path to discover the truth which leads to a
twist in the tale as the young woman decides to side with justice and
investigate deeper to uncover inconvenient truths about the army and army men.
On playing the role of Major Monica Mehra,

प्लेटफार्म पर अपना भाग्य आजमाने का फैसला किया है। वह ऑल्ट बालाजी के शो कोड एम में मेजर मोनिका
मेहरा की भूमिका से इसकी शुरुआत करने जा रही है।
इस सीरीज में जेनिफर के अलावा रजत कपूर, तनुज विरवानी और सीमा बिस्वास भी हैं। इस शो की शुरुआत ज़ी५ पर २०२० में किसी समय होगी ।
२०२० में अजब गज़ब टाइटल देखने-सुनने को मिल सकते हैं। इन टाइटलों में से एक शुक्राणु भी है। शुक्राणु यानि स्पर्म टाइटल से आयुष्मान खुराना की फिल्म विक्की डोनर की याद आ जाती है। इस फिल्म में, खुराना ने स्पर्म दान करने वाले युवक की भूमिका की थी। लेकिन, शुक्राणु का सम्बन्ध, किसी डोनर की कहानी से नहीं है। यह फिल्म आपातकाल के दौरान नसबंदी के विषय को उठाने वाली फिल्म है। आपातकाल के दौरान, परिवार नियोजन कार्यक्रम के तहत लाखों युवाओं की जबरन नसबंदी कर दी गई थी। इस विषय पर, आपातकाल के बाद, जीनियस एक्टर आई एस जौहर ने फिल्म नसबंदी का निर्माण किया था। लेकिन आपातकाल और नसबंदी जैसे अमानवीय विषय पर जौहर की फिल्म उसकी घटिया पैरोडी थी। इसलिए फिल्म को बॉक्स ऑफिस पर बुरी असफलता मिली। अभिनेता दिव्येंदु शर्मा की फिल्म शुक्राणु भी आपातकाल में हुई नसबन्दियों का मज़ाक उडाती फिल्म होगी। लेकिन, इसमे कितना व्यंग्य होगा, यह देखने की चीज होगी। जानकारी के अनुसार, फिल्म में दिव्येंदु शर्मा के किरदार इन्दर की जबरन नसबंदी करा दी जाती है। इसके बाद वह किन मनोभावानों से गुजरता है, इसका फिल्म में चित्रण किया गया है। दावे के अनुसार इस विषय को काफी समझदारी के साथ उठाया गया है। रिलायंस एंटरटेनमेंट और जी५ की इस फिल्म में दर्शकों की उत्सुकता पैदा करने वाले उतार-चढ़ाव और मोड़ हैं। निर्माताओं को उम्मीद है कि फिल्म दर्शकों का भरपूर मनोरंजन करेगी। इस फिल्म की शूटिंग शुरू हो चुकी है। फिल्म में श्वेता बासु प्रसाद और शीतल ठाकुर की भूमिका भी है। इसे अगले साल के शुरू में, दर्शकों द्वारा जी५ पर स्ट्रीम होते देखा जा सकता है।

the first in the Indian OTT space to create an interactive, and engaging
VR experience. Taking innovation, a
notch higher, the makers introduced an industry-first Stereoscopic 3D 360 VIRTUAL REALITY
narrative film at the recent trailer launch event of their upcoming horrex -
Ragini MMS Returns Season 2. The specially curated 3D VR narrative from the
series presented a surreal experience for the audience’ present at the
event.
Audiences
were in for an incredible visual treat as they were given VR headsets that
immediately transported them to the terrifying yet sensual world of Ragini.
Experiencing interesting glimpses from the series in an up-close & personal
fashion, the 10-minute
long VR film entertained some and offered a spine-chilling experience to
others. The story begins with Meena Sharma played by Sunny Leone, going to a
villa and things start to slip out of hand on the first night itself when she
senses something is wrong with the place. It also gives a sneak peek into the
world of Ragini Shroff, a final year student played by Divya Agarwal. As her
closest friend, Varsha is getting married; she goes on an all-girls trip with
her friends to celebrate a bachelorette weekend.

his experience, actor Varun Sood said, “I feel blessed to mark my debut with
this popular franchise; Ragini MMS. ALTBalaji has created a one of its kind VR
clips for the series and I am happy that such newer formats are being explored

the long wait for fans of the series, ALTBalaji and ZEE5 finally launched the trailer of the brand new
season of their most awaited franchise-Ragini MMS Returns 2. The dhamakedar duo just dropped the trailer of
one of the most awaited horrex franchise, in a double dhamakedar manner.
Punting on the relevance of Season 2, the
trailer was launched at 21:21 PM on 12.12.2019.
Packed with heavy doses of suspense, action and all the thrills one
expects in the horrex show, Ragini MMS Returns Season 2 stars real-life couple Divya Agarwal and Varun
Sood along with the sizzling Sunny Leone who is already making headlines with
her ‘Hello Ji!’ number and will be seen playing a paranormal expert in the
series. ALTBalaji and ZEE5 also
created a special 10 minutes VR clip
for a surreal experience to transport the fans of Ragini MMS to her world. The
web-series launches on 18th December on
ALTBalaji and ZEE5.
The trailer gives a glimpse into the world of Ragini Shroff, a
final year student played by Divya Agarwal. The leader of the pack, she knows
how to fight back and hence no one likes to mess with her. As her closest
friend, Varsha is getting married; she goes on an all-girls trip with her
friends to celebrate the bachelorette. Unaware of the fact that a gang of boys,
who also happen to be their friends from college followed them on this trip,
the girls reach a recently opened hotel in the woods.The owner of the hotel, Rahul, played by the
handsome Varun Sood, meets Ragini here for the first time and there is an
instant chemistry between them. Rahul is good looking and the quintessential
nice guy. He is smart, intelligent and genuinely likes Ragini. Running a hotel
for his family, he also knows what responsibility is.
Things start to slip out of hand on the first night itself when
Ragini feels something is wrong with the place, but others don’t take her
seriously. Soon things go from bad to worse and the whole group succumbs to the
paranormal activities one by one and go missing one by one. Soon they all
decide to leave the place. What follows next is a series of scary events that
turn their world upside down. Devastated by this, Ragini decides to take
matters into her own hands and soon secrets tumble out.
Adding the oomph factor to the latest season is its peppy song
‘Hello Ji!’ featuring the stunning Sunny Leone which is already taking
audiences across the country by storm and clearly emerged as the party anthem
of the year. Composed by accomplished music-director duo Meet Bros and
choreographed by the talented Vishnu Deva, the song is sung by the Baby Doll
singer, Kanika Kapoor.
