Veteran actress, theater artiste & powerhouse
performer Ketki Dave will soon make a comeback on television albeit this time
sans her comic side. The actress will join the cast & crew of Siddharth
Kumar Tewary's ambitious project, Chandragupta Maurya & will be seen in a
never seen before avatar.
Ruling the roost on television back in time with
her comic timing & some interesting performances in over a 100
films & television shows collectively, Ketki will play a pivotal role in
historical series 'Chandragupta Maurya' that will be a seamless transition
& extension of the show with the global appeal, Porus produced by the same
banner.
Last seen in TV, Biwi aur Main, Ketki Dave will
break the stereotype after having effortlessly played the funny Gujju ben on
television & movies like Kal Ho Na Ho...& will portray a strong
character. She excitedly shares, 'It is my first show with Siddharth. I've
enjoyed his shows over the years. I see passion & creativity in this body
of work. Each characters are sketched beautifully. This role specifically has
more scope of work for me.'
'Chandragupta Maurya will be instrumental in
changing the way people have seen me. It is something completely new that I'll
be playing. I'm pretty excited to be a part of this team,' she adds.
