Taapsee
Pannu has had a successful 2018 having giving milestone performances in films
like Soorma, Mulk and Manmarziya. While the actress is gearing up for her much
awaited releases next year, she has made her year more special acquiring a
badminton team on the Priemer Badminton League.
With
the auctions of the players held last evening, the actress had a special player
on board. The Olympic Gold Medalist Batminton player Carolina Marin, who is
part of Taapsee's Pune Seven Aces is being called a doppelganger of the
actress. Both Taapsee and Carolina have striking similarities in feature.
Taapsee
is looking forward to meet her Carolina when she would travel for the PBL
matches. While Taapsee has got on board one of the most sought after players in
PBL, she has a stellar team gearing up
for the league which includes Chirag Shetty, Mathias Boe, Vladimir Ivanov, Line
Kjaersfeldt, Lakshya Sen, Brice Leverdez, Sony Dwi Kuncoro, Ajay Jayaram and Prajakta
Sawant.

Pannu shares, "I am so happy and proud to have Carolina in my team. I’m a
huge fan, not just coz of the fact that she is one of the best players in the
world but also coz of the spirit with which she plays. She is a treat to watch when
she is playing. The funny anecdote is that whenever she plays in India I always
get bunch of messages on social media telling me that my doppelgänger is here
or comparing our pictures and pointing out similarities. Though I’m sure
personally we both might find it difficult to believe but a lot of people
apparently feel so."
