राष्ट्रीय फिल्म पुरस्कार विजेता निर्माता अभिमन्यु सिंह की सीरीज ताज डिवाइडेड बाय ब्लड में, अभिनेता धर्मेद्र सूफी संत शेख सलीम चिस्ती की भूमिका कर रहे है. यह वही संत है, जिनके पास मुग़ल बादशाह अकबर अपने लिए संतान माँगने के लिए नंगे पाँव जाता है. सलीम चिस्ती के आशीर्वाद से सलीम उर्फ़ जहाँगीर जैसा ऐयाश जन्मा था. जाहांगीर के बाद, मुग़ल साम्राज्य का पतन होना प्रारंभ हो गया था.

अपनी इस भूमिका के विषय में धर्मेन्द्र ने अपने ट्विटर अकाउंट से ट्वीट करते हुए बताया. ट्वीट के साथ अपलोड चित्र में धर्मेन्द्र लम्बी दाढी, पगड़ी और सूफी वेशभूषा में पहचाने नहीं जा रहे. उन्होंने लिखा- दोस्तों, मैं फिल्म ताज में एक सूफी संत शेख सलीम चिस्ती की भूमिका कर रहा हूँ. यह भूमिका छोटी मगर महत्वपूर्ण है. आपकी शुभकामनाओं की आवशयकता है.

१८ एपिसोड्स की सीरीज ताज में धर्मेन्द्र की भूमिका छोटी मगर महत्वपूर्ण बताई जा रही है. सीरीज में नसीरुद्दीन शाह (अकबर). अदिति राव हैदरी (अनारकली), संध्या मृदुल (जोधा बाई), असीम गुलाटी (सलीम), पंकज सारस्वत (अबुल फज़ल), ताहा शाह बदुषा (मुराद), शुभम कुमार मेहरा (दान्याल), दिगंबर प्रसाद (मान सिंह), सुबोध भावे (बीरबल), दीपराज राणा (महाराणा प्रताप). सुहानी जुनेजा (अरजुमंद बानो), आदि अकबर कालीन चरित्रों को निभाते दिखाई देंगे.

यह सीरीज, छः सीजन में फैली हुई है. इस सीरीज में मुग़ल साम्राज्य के शीर्ष पर पहुँचाने से लेकर आतंरिक कलह और खूंरेंजी के बाद, मुग़ल साम्राज्य के पतन की दास्ताँ दिखाई जायेगी. इस सीरीज में वह सब कुछ होगा, जो डिजिटल परदे पर दर्शक देखना चाहेंगे. अनारकली की भूमिका में अदिति राव हैदरी को देखते हुए, यह समझा जा सकता है कि सलीम अनारकली के रोमांस को विशेष महत्त्व दिया गया होगा.

सूचनाओं के अनुसार, ताज डिवाइडेड बाय ब्लड के पहले सीजन के  निर्देशन का दायित्व विभु पुरी, रोन स्कल्पेलो और प्रशांत सिंह को सौंपा गया है. यह तीनों ६-६ कड़ियों का निर्देशन करेंगे. ताज को विलियम बोर्थविक, क्रिस्टोफर बुतेरा और साइमन फँतौजो की तिकड़ी ने लिखा है. आशा की जा सकती है कि सीरीज में मुगलों का अनावश्यक महिमामंडन नहीं किया गया होगा.

Shreyas Talpade to play Major Atul Gajre in EORTV's 'The Last Flight'

 

Actors Shreyas Talpade and Deepti Lele will be seen in EORTV's latest offering titled 'The Last Flight', releasing on 9th April 2022. This bi-lingual ( Hindi & Marathi) web series is an anthology of stories dealing with the aspects of line-of-duty, the glorious victory and struggles at the battle field. They also narrate their heart warming, emotional, sensitive side of these heroes. These heroic stories are narrated by the legendary warrior ‘Chatrapati Shivaji’

 

The web series goes live on the 9th of April. Shreyas Talpade plays the role of Major Atul Garje, who sacrificed his life saving thousands of innocent lives, while he was on his last flight with his co-pilot, Capt. Bhanu Pratap.

अमेज़न प्राइम विडियो से प्रसारित हो रही वेब सीरीज द फॅमिली मैन सीजन २ की इसके प्रसारित होने से पहले से ही काफी चर्चा हो रही थी. इस सीरीज का पहला सीजन भारतीय सेना के खिलाफ और कश्मीरी आतंकियों के प्रति सहानुभूति के कारण खासा विवादों में रहा था. इसीलिए काफी दर्शकों की इसके कंटेंट के प्रति उत्सुकता थी.

इस लिहाज़ से लिहाज़ से राज और डीके के लिखे और सुपर्ण वर्मा के साथ निर्देशित द फॅमिली मैन २, तमिलनाडु में हल्केफुल्के विरोध का शिकार होती है. क्योंकि, यह फिल्म श्रीलंका के तमिल उग्रवादियों के भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री की ह्त्या के षड़यंत्र पर केन्द्रित बताई जा रही थी. अब यह बात दीगर है कि शो में ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं है.

सच कहा जाए तो द फॅमिली मैन का दूसरा सीजन हर प्रकार से निराश करता है. फिल्म की कहानी श्रीलंका के लिट्टे उग्रवादियों के षड़यंत्र पर है. इसका भारत में असर सिर्फ यह था कि भारत के एक प्रधान मंत्री की लिट्टे उग्रवादियों द्वारा हत्या कर दी गई. बाकी लिट्टे का उग्रवाद तमिलनाडु तक ही थोड़ा बहुत महसूस किया गया. इसलिए द फॅमिली मैन २ की कहानी पूरे देश को अपील नहीं करती है. ओटीटी प्लेटफार्म के लिए पूरे देश को आकर्षित कर पाने वाला कथानक होना चाहिए.

सीरीज में कुछ भी ऐसा नहीं बताया गया है, जो सीरीज को देखने को प्रेरित करे. पटकथा, कहानी की तरह बिलकुल घिसी हुई और लकीर पर चलती है. ख़ास कर क्लाइमेक्स तो सीरीज का पूरा प्रभाव ख़त्म कर देता है. दर्शकों में इसे देखने की कोई इच्छा नहीं रहती.

द फॅमिली मैन के पहले सीजन को हिंदी बेल्ट में मनोज बाजपेई के कारण तथा दक्षिण में प्रियमणि के कारण पसंद किया गया था. मनोज बाजपेई प्रभावित भी करते थे. इस शो के बाद तो वह इसी प्रकार की इतने ज्यादा भूमिकाओं में नज़र आये कि वह खुद ही ऎसी भूमिकाओं से ऊबने लगे हैं. उनके अभिनय में अपने चरित्र के प्रति ऊब साफ़ नज़र आती है.

द फॅमिली मैन २ का प्रशंसनीय पक्ष है सामंता अक्किनेनी का अभिनय. सामंता ने द फॅमिली मैन २ में लिट्टे की उग्रवादी और मानव बम राजलक्ष्मी चंद्रन और राजी की भूमिका की है. सामंता के अभिनय की धार देखिये कि वह अपने परदे की क्रूर भावाभिनय से सिहरा देती हैं.

इस सीरीज का दूसरा सबसे प्रभावित करने वाला चेहरा शारिब हाश्मी का है. वह इस सीरीज में मनोज बाजपेई के टास्क के साथी जयवंत काशीनाथ तलपडे उर्फ़ जेके की भूमिका मे काफी सहज और स्वाभाविक हैं. उनका सहज अभिनय मनोज बाजपेई की ओवर एक्टिंग पर भारी पड़ता है. मिशन मजनू उनकी आने वाली फिल्म है.

क्या एकतरफा प्यार की कहानी है इन्दोरी इश्क ?

समित कक्कड़ निर्देशित शो इन्दोरी इश्क, एक तरफा प्यार की कहानी लगती है. १२वी का कुणाल, अपनी सहपाठिनी तारा से प्रेम करने लगता है. वह उसके सामने अपने प्रेम का इज़हार करना चाहते है, जो वह कर भी देता है.

कॉलेज में पढाई पूरी करने के बाद, कुनाल इंदौर से मुंबई आ जाता है, नेवल कॉलेज ज्वाइन करने के लिए. इधर तारा किसी और के लिए कुणाल को छोड़ देती है. तारा के गम में डूबा कुणाल नशे में डूब जाता है. वह किसी भी तरह से तारा को पाना चाहता है.

ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म  MXPlayer द्वारा, जब भगवान राम पर सीरीज राम युग के प्रसारण  की घोषणा की गई तब, इसके पिछले कार्यक्रमों को देखते  हुए, बहुत ज़्यादा उम्मीदें  थी।  उस पर करेला पर नीम यह कि इस शो के निर्देशक फ़ना के  कुणाल कोहली थे। नतीजे के तौर पर दर्शकों को ऊंची दूकान के फीके पकवान की कहावत चारितार्थ होती लगती थी ।

राम युग की घोषणा के वक़्त कुणाल कोहली ने कहा था कि वह राम कथा को युवा दर्शकों के लिए नया जीवन देना चाहते हैं। यकीन मानिए कुणाल कोहली और एमएक्स प्लेयर, राम युग में इसका उल्टा करते नज़र आते हैं । इन्होने राम कथा को युवा दर्शकों के मज़ाक का केंद्र बना दिया है. यह शो राम युग की निर्जीव प्रस्तुति करता है ।

राम युग की असफलता के बड़े कारण कुणाल कोहली, निर्जीव  पटकथा, विषय के प्रति अश्रद्धा और कलाकारों का मूर्खतापूर्ण चयन हैं. कुणाल कोहली को विषय की समझ ही नहीं है। वह राम के चरित्र पर श्रद्धा तो रखते नहीं है, इसे मुम्बैया नज़रिए से भी देखते हैं. कुणाल कोहली के राम बददिमाग, असभ्य और अभिमानी लगते हैं. वह सीता स्वयंवर में सीता को लम्पटों की तरह घूरते हैं. सीता भी उन्हें घूरती है. लक्षमण हर मौके पर मज़ा लेते नज़र आते हैं.

राम युग का हर कलाकार ओवर एक्टिंग करता है. राम की भूमिका में दिगंत मनचले नाम के अनुरूप मनचले लगे. वह राहुल गाँधी की कॉपी लगते हैं. जो राम चरित्र में अश्रद्धा उत्पन्न करता है. सीता की भूमिका में ऐश्वर्या ओझा में थोड़ा भी समर्पण, भक्ति और लज्जाशीलता का भाव नहीं दिखाई देता. लक्ष्मण की भूमिका में अक्षय डोगरा भी मसाला फिल्मों के छोटे भाई लगते हैं.

राम युग की असफलता का अंदाजा इस से लगाया जा सकता है कि पहले एपिसोड में राम परशुराम संवाद राम को परशुराम के प्रति अशिष्ट, लक्षमण को उज्जड और परशुराम को डरपोक दिखाता था. जबकि, यह दृश्य वास्तव में ठीक उलटा है.

राम युग में दिगंत मनचले, अक्षय डोगरा, ऐश्वर्या ओझा के अलावा कबीर दुहान सिंह,विवान भातेना, नवदीप पल्लापोलू, अनिश जॉन कोक्कें, शिशिर मोहन  शर्मा, जतिन सियाल, स्वेता गुलाटी, सुपर्णा मारवाह, ममता वर्मा, टिस्का चोपड़ा, दलीप ताहिल, अनूप सोनी, विक्रम सिंह चौहान, हेमंत कुमार पाण्डेय, अरुण सिंह, रवि झंकाल, शान ग्रोवर, अमित मदन गौर, टीना सिंह और दानिश अख्तर की भूमिकाये ख़ास है.

Speaking on familial matrimonial pressures, Neena Gupta shared, “I have been very vocal about how self-love is of extreme importance. There is also the constant struggle between generation gaps, however, we need to understand that the older generation is not rigid. We have just been conditioned to think in a certain way because of our upbringing. I always have transparent and honest conversations with my daughter who explains her thought process to me, which helps me understand this generation better. Communication is the key – the more you talk, the better you understand. It was a pleasure to share my experiences and opinions on Bumble’s series with Sanya and Rytasha.”

Speaking on the her experience of familial matrimonial pressures, actor Sanya Malhotra said, “I think the best way to deal with the pressure or naysayers is to hear their feedback, take what you want and discard the rest–you need to be sure of what you really want and tell yourself that you are doing good. It took me some time to explain to my parents but eventually they understood. If you are clear about your wants, desires, aspirations, you'll be strong enough to deal with the unsolicited opinions and pressures.”

Speaking on body positivity and gender stereotypes on Bumble’s series Dating These Days, Sushant Divgikar shared, “It’s extremely important to have dialogues and conversations around such pertinent issues like body positivity, which we have so comfortably neglected for so many years. We’ve caused more harm by harping on the fact that there has to be this absurd standard of ‘beauty’ that people need to adhere to in order to feel or look beautiful. I’m very happy to have spoken about demolishing gender stereotypes around beauty, weight, size, colour on Bumble’s Dating These Days series. I think it’s so important, I’m so happy to be  doing this with two very powerful women–Sumukhi and Rytasha. I respect them for their art, regardless of their shape and size. We all need to realise that art has no boundaries, gender or barriers.”

Rytasha is someone I admire and also look up to because she truly makes me believe that a big girl can be more than cute or loud, but also be hot.
