Sony Pictures and Dino Morea come together for an insightful comedy titled ‘Helmet’



Sony Pictures Networks Productions and actor Dino Morea’s production house, DM Movies have joined hands to give the audience a unique, quirky comedy titled ‘Helmet’ that comes from the heartland of India.

Directed by Satram Ramani, ‘Helmet’ is a truly funny script which touches upon a topic that is considered embarrassing for most people in India, and will showcase the same in a funny and entertaining manner.

Satram has previously assisted Prabhudeva, Pooja Bhatt and Sohail Khan and this is his directorial debut.

Rohan Shankar, who previously wrote Luka Chuppi has been roped in as the writer.

The film will feature Aparshakti Khurana, Pranutan Bahl in lead roles.

Aparshakti Khurana has had a fantastic year garnering praises for his performances in multiple films, like Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh and this film will be his first as a lead actor.

On the other hand, Pranutan Bahl - granddaughter of yesteryear actress Nutan made her Bollywood debut this year with Notebook where she was praised for her acting prowess.

The film also features the talented Abhishek Banerjee who was a part of many successful films like Stree, Dream Girl and Bala and Ashish Verma was last seen in Article 15.

The film has gone on floors in Benaras and is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2020.
