As is the saying, with big power comes big
responsibilities. This is a position that Kartik Aaryan is finding himself in
today after the biggest box office opening of his career, Pati Patni aur Woh,
and he can well be expected to be ecstatic about that. In a span of just twenty
months, the actor has now ensured big opening of his third film in a row, hence
establishing himself the new prince of the box-office.
The best part about Kartik's journey is that he
has successfully transitioned from the image that he had built after Pyaar Ka
Punchnama series. While both the installments were great successes, the change
started coming when Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018) released. From youth, he
found himself in a zone where kids started falling in love with him as well.
Post that it was time for some Luka Chuppi as
family audiences warmed up to him as well, hence ensuring that Kartik managed
the biggest opening ever of his career. The film emerged as one of the earliest
successes of the year and while that did wonders for Kartik's career, the
manner in which Pati Patni aur Woh has gone ahead of that is remarkable indeed.
The film has taken one of the biggest openings of the year and that too on a
clash with another big film, something that has now managed to keep the flag
high for Kartik. Popular trade expert Taran Adarsh too sings praise about the
actor and says, "From 90 lakhs to 9 crore on day 1, from 3.25 crore to
35-36 crore opening weekend, from Pyaar Ka Punchanama to Pati Patni Aur
Woh.. It has been a meteoric rise for
Kartik Aaryan! That’s not all, 2019 started with Luka Chuppi for Kartik and has
ended with Pati Patni Aur Woh, both super hit films. The good thing is, Kartik
is working in movies that not just appeal to youngistan but also to the family
audience, so his fan based is not limited to young girls or teenage crowd. What
makes his success journey meritorious, is the fact that he has made it without
any star Godfather or a star producer backing him. It's purely on his merit,
strength and his own decisions."

an unexplored talent and if the different shades that he has shown in Pati
