Tanvi Dogra Kaise Na Khilay

How often one gets to work with their favourite actor on whose songs you have grown up dancing? For the actor, Tanvi Dogra, this dream turned into reality when she was offered the role of ‘Swati’ – an ardent devotee of Santoshi Maa portrayed by Gracy Singh in &TV’s ‘Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein’. One of Tanvi’s favourite dance numbers that she performed during her school days was that of Gracy’s ‘Radha Kaise Na Jale’ and the moment she was signed on for the role, opposite Gracy Singh, the actor couldn’t contain her happiness.

Speaking about it, actor Tanvi Dogra said, “I was in 6th grade when I performed on the song, ‘Radha Kaise Na Jale’ imitating every graceful step of Gracy in the movie ‘Lagaan’. I simply loved the song and how beautifully it was choreographed and performed by Gracy Ji. I simply loved everything about her in that movie. I always wanted to be an actor but never thought that one day, I will get this wonderful opportunity to not only meet Gracy Ji but also work with her. It is truly a dream come true for me. This is honestly a big moment for me, and I am beyond honoured to get to work with my favourite dancing star.”

Devotion or ‘Bhakti’ is considered as one of the most supreme human emotions. For every God, there is a devotee, and similarly, for every devotee, there is God who supports and guides their devotees to the path of happiness and harmony, in their time of need. God’s constant guidance and presence in a devotee’s life strengthens a disciple’s devotional journey. Such is the story of Santoshi Maa whose presence brings about peace and contentment in her ardent devotee’s life. Capturing this pure connection between ‘Bhakt and Bhagwan’, &TV presents the captivating story, ‘Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrath Kathayein’.

Tune into Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein, every Monday to Friday at 9:00 pm only on &TV
